FINALLY!....A website and instructors that are dedicated to SCUBA Diving’s most neglected skill.

Maureen Miller
is a SCUBA Instructor who looks the part underwater. She is one of many colleagues who embraced the “NO HANDS”, philosophy of Buoyancy GuruJohn Noftall… Now they are a team!

We are buoyancy experts. Our Beginner Classes, Buoyancy Workshops and SCUBA Travel develop outstanding buoyancy control through a “NO HANDS” philosophy that promotes excellence by exploiting efficient fin and breathing techniques.

Looking for QUALITY DIVE TRAVEL?

BuoyancyQuest is for you. Our Cozumel Dive Trips are renowned for promoting good buoyancy habits while having fun! We also offer other dive travel destinations.

Looking to “TUNE UP” or otherwise improve your scuba skills?

If you haven’t been able to find anyone who can make sense of the mystery of buoyancy control, our method of MENTORING could put an end to your Quest. We don’t just talk about good buoyancy! We can demonstrate it and show you how you can have great buoyancy skills.

We can show you how to kick like a cave diver, for more stamina, longer bottom times and controlled, “silt free”, diving. We know and can teach ”FROG KICK”..a superior propulsion technique..

These skills have great value so why save the best for last? Why wait to introduce them at some pseudo elitist level of training? We introduce our novice divers to these techniques because they are fundamental.  Public service divers need these skills too and so do those divers who are preparing for technical training.

We believe in building solid fundamentals.

We didn’t invent great buoyancy control…we just embrace, practice and promote it, whenever we can.

We don’t offer any “macho” or “make believe” tech training but the fundamentals that we offer will prepare you for real adventures.

“BUOYANCY IS OUR SPECIALTY…TO SHARE IT
WITH YOU IS OUR
QUEST”
